Her job as purchasing oenologist is a reflection of her personality: rigorous, inquisitive and, above all, always on the move.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udcbc \u2018What I like about my job is that it requires a lot of versatility,\u2019 she confides. And rightly so: her daily routine oscillates between bulk buying, quality monitoring, sampling, preparing for competitions and even winemaking in the field at Ch\u00e2teau des Sources. Tasks that require intuition as much as precision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote has-text-align-center is-style-plain is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><em>\u00ab   Oenologists are a bit like the doctors of wine \u00bb<\/em>,<\/p>\n<cite><br>Nelly explains.<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83e\uddea And like any good doctor, they know how to diagnose, prevent and adjust! Some oenologists work exclusively in the laboratory, while others move into more commercial roles. Nelly, on the other hand, is the link between these two worlds, ensuring the consistency and excellence of our wines from vat to bottle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This cross-fertilisation between technique and end product, between analysis and tasting, is invaluable.
